- The high-quality lacquer is applied so that it soaks into the wood, and the top-quality Kiso cypress with a solid straight grain is used, so even if you put it in the dishwasher, it won't bend or the paint will come off easily.
- In my experience of running the dishwasher through the dishwasher one to three times every day over the course of a year, the dark brown color has become a little lighter overall, but this is due to the inherent characteristic of lacquer that becomes transparent over time. After half a year, you could see the bare wood at the tip of the chopsticks.

This is a Kiso cypress tree that has been grown for a longer period of time than regular Kiso cypress trees. I can't tell because it's lacquered, but it's very fragrant and soothing. Since it is a natural wood, it is not strange if it bends, but I feel that this Kiso cypress does not bend easily. *Please refrain from leaving it on for a long time.
