Amazon Review
This deluxe two-disc album from TM NETWORK features Disc 1, a collection of unreleased demos and pre-production takes, and Disc 2, a reissue of their ROJAM album "Major Turn-Round." Disc 1 also includes a studio-recorded version of a piano solo track that Tetsuya Komuro only performed live; Disc 5, a wild rap version by Common that aired only once on TM NETWORK's radio show "BEATCLUB"; and Disc 8, a live recording from "2001 RENDEZVOUS IN SPACE" (held January 1, 2001) at Ginowan Tropical Beach in Okinawa. Disc 1 also includes rare recordings, all of which are being released on CD for the first time. Disc 2, with its over 30-minute progressive number featuring Tetsuya Komuro's epic improvisational piano playing (Disc 3), and its tender mid-tempo ballad (Disc 5), sings of the joy of reuniting with a lover. The pure yet refreshing worldview of Mitsuko Komuro, a key figure in the early days of TM NETWORK, unfolds. Their adventurous spirit, always challenging themselves with diverse sounds, and their creative musicianship, which continues to emphasize the album concept, hint at their further evolution. Media Reviews and More
Disc 1 features unreleased and rare tracks, while Disc 2 features the album "Mejor~," released independently in 2000. While the first disc is certainly a rare find, the second disc's futuristic progressive sound and Komuro's improvisational piano performances are not to be missed.
