Product Introduction
Fine Molds 1/72 Special Marking Series JASDF F-15J Aggressor No. 904 Black/White Plastic Model FK02
Inspired by the U.S. Air Force and Navy's combat training units modeled after hypothetical enemy aircraft, the JASDF established the "Flight Training Squadron" in 1981, fulfilling a similar role.
The goal is to improve the skills of fighter pilots.
In 2016, the unit was relocated to Komatsu Air Base and renamed the "Flight Training Group." It now provides training and training to the JASDF's fighter squadrons and airborne surveillance and control units.
Since 1990, the aircraft used in this mission has been the F-15, but each aircraft features a different camouflage paint scheme to clearly distinguish friend from foe in simulated air combat. This aircraft is popular among fans as an aggressor aircraft.
[No. 904 Black/White] is a single-seat J-model assigned in May 2007.
While following the dark gray and white color scheme of its predecessor, No. 906, the gray has been replaced with pure black.
This aircraft served for a shorter period of time than the others, dropping these two colors at the end of August 2008 and leaving the unit shortly thereafter.
