Its distinctive feature is the white waxy powder known as bloom. As the wax is rubbed into the leather through frictional heat, the color gradually deepens and a soft luster emerges. [Note] The surface color and bloom will vary from piece to piece depending on the individual item, location, and temperature and humidity. To preserve the natural look and texture of the leather, the surface is not treated with a protective coating. Therefore, scratches and other marks may appear on the bloom during the manufacturing process, storage, or shipping. Please understand that this is a natural characteristic of leather.
