Pit-Road 1/700 Skywave Series JMSDF Destroyer DDG-170 Sawakaze Plastic Model J105
The Sawakaze was commissioned in 1983 as the third ship of the JMSDF's second-generation Tachikaze-class missile destroyers.
It was equipped with the latest integrated missile system, the Tartar-D, and was capable of carrying Standard Missiles (SM-1MR) and Harpoon anti-ship missiles.
It succeeded the Tachikaze as the flagship of the Escort Fleet in 2007 and remained in service until 2010.
