Amazon Review
The "ANIMEX 1200" series brings you a selection of nostalgic anime theme songs and background music at the attractive price of ¥1,200 (excluding tax). This is the original soundtrack for the 1986 anime series Dragon Ball, based on the original work by Akira Toriyama. It's a remastered version of the original soundtrack, making it available on CD for the first time.
The music was composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi, known for his outstanding work on superhero soundtracks. As an early soundtrack, it has a somewhat idyllic atmosphere, but the heroic music used in battle scenes is outstanding. The opening and ending themes are included in full length. (Gokichi Wakasunya)
