REC-Mount's recommended mount for standard handlebars is the Type 19 or an aluminum double-arm narrow type.
Parts that can be changed at the time of purchase cannot be changed at Amazon.
This is the first-generation (pre-facelift) model of the Type 19. [Recommended for RecMount] Made of AL6061 (CNC-machined aluminum). Compatible clamp diameter: 31.8mm (shims cannot be used).
The combo model includes a dedicated lower adapter (GP-K400A) with a GoPro interface, allowing it to be used with cameras such as the GoPro HERO series, Shimano, Garmin, and fry12. For example, the [19-GM+GP] can accommodate CATEYE lights by adding the separately sold Light Adapter Type 2 for CATEYE [GP-CATHL2]. Other options include Lezyne, MOON, and general-purpose versions.
Compatible models (as of July 31, 2019): Garmin: Edge 130/20/25/500/510/520/530/800/810/820/830/1000/1030, etc. (J PLUS compatible).
Examples of expansion parts: 1. Bell kit for double-arm narrow [Bell-Narrow]; 2. Double base adapter for mounting two lower units [400-Double-GP3]; 3. Di2 junction adapter [Di2-Specer3]; 4. Double arm set (expansion kit) [D-Arm-R+] [D-Arm-GM]; etc.; 5. Base plate (socket) replacement: Common/5mm → Common type is installed. 5mm type is also available.
