The Hatsuyuki-class destroyers were the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's first general-purpose escort ships, equipped with an all-gas turbine engine and capable of carrying helicopters. 12 ships were commissioned in the 1980s.
Six Hatsuyuki-class ships have already been decommissioned, and four have become training ships. However, the 11th ship, the Asayuki, commissioned in 1987, is still in active service as an escort ship.
This kit includes parts such as the hull bottom, satellite antenna, and mast truss, allowing you to recreate the Asayuki in its latest condition.
Includes a new full-hull hull bottom and various satellite antenna parts.
Includes one SH-60J anti-submarine patrol helicopter.
Includes decals for new arrivals and training ship numbers.
Includes decals for the Shirayuki, Haruyuki, Yamayuki, Setoyuki, Asayuki, and Shimayuki.
