Drop a drop of water on it and when it starts to roll, it's hot enough. 4. Add oil and fry some vegetable scraps. That's it. [Storage of the iron plate after use] We do not recommend washing with detergent. We recommend using the included scraper to remove any burnt or dirty surfaces, applying a thin layer of olive oil, and wrapping the product in newspaper before storing. Iron plates are prone to rust.
