We created a larger bowl to make the Kendama as heavy as the Lunar, but shortened the cup to maintain a refined, traditional feel. The salado radius is fairly steep to stay sharp for slingers, and the stall point is large and slightly rounded for optimal stall balance. We deepened the curve around the ring to make C-Whips much easier as the string sticks. The hole in the base cup fits your finger for funky tricks. The handle stall and ring are designed to hold the stall securely.
