Kamoshika Douguten is a local brand established by Yamaguchi Touki, a Banko ware pottery manufacturer in Komono Town, Mie Prefecture. This ceramic rice container lets you enjoy the delicious taste of freshly cooked rice even after some time has passed. Even when you put freshly cooked rice in it, the rice container absorbs excess moisture, and heating it in the microwave returns the moisture to the rice, giving it that piping hot, freshly cooked taste. Two sizes are available: small (1 cup) and regular (1.5 cups). Recommended for families who get home late or for single-person rice storage.
