Installation Instructions
To prevent the adhesive from hardening, apply them in an area with an outside temperature of at least 18°C (67°F), preferably above 20°C (68°F). This may be difficult unless you're using a heater in a garage.
Use a heat gun (or household hair dryer) to warm the area to be attached, then apply it, then reheat it from above to soak the adhesive and improve adhesion to the vehicle. However, overheating can cause melting or discoloration, so be careful not to expose the surface to the heat gun directly at close range or to direct airflow for long periods without moving the grip.
Installation: Allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to stabilize. (This may take longer in winter, especially in cold temperatures.)
Using the grip before it's fully bonded may result in peeling or slippage. Re-applying the grip will weaken the adhesive and make it more likely to peel off. Please work with extreme caution.
