It can be used with the cover open. Installation is easy, simply attach with double-sided tape. It may not be compatible with vehicles that have undergone minor changes since the survey date (as of December 2021). It cannot be installed on vehicles that have additional options installed around the mounting area of this product. This product is not a base for installing an ETC onboard unit. It is compatible with vehicles that have a built-in type ETC onboard unit (basic type/voice type). After installing this product, the power indicator light of the ETC onboard unit will not be visible when the cover is closed, and the sound from the ETC onboard unit may be difficult to hear. If a commercially available ETC onboard unit is installed in the vehicle's built-in mounting location, this product cannot be installed if the protrusion from the opening exceeds 4 mm.
