The No. 4 electric turnout (EP481-15 L/R) is a compact turnout that can be used when space is limited. It can be combined with auxiliary tracks (two 64mm straight tracks, one R481-15 curved track, and one 60mm straight track for left and one for right turns) to accommodate various track layouts. Unitrack electric points use DC point machines for switching points, so they fit compactly within the track bed, allowing for more flexible track layouts. A separate point switch, model 24-840, is required for remote operation.
