TC Twill Tucked Pants Brand Introduction
Dickies is America's global work casual brand. Dickies' co-founders, cousins C.N. Williamson and E.E. Dickie, began producing workwear in the 1920s, amid the excitement of realizing the American Dream. The two men traveled to "workplaces" across the United States, studying the unique characteristics of each job, from farmworkers to miners, and crafting clothing for working people. Their products, tailored to the needs of workers, quickly became deeply ingrained throughout the United States. During World War II, they produced millions of uniforms at the request of the government. After the war, in the 1950s, they created the "874" work pants for local Texas oil workers, and they remain the world's most beloved work pants to this day. Durable, stain-resistant, and flattering to all body types, these pants truly embodied the brand's spirit and became an explosive hit, spreading to workplaces around the world. The attitude of listening to the voices of workers has been passed down and is the foundation of the brand's policy, "FIT YOU, FIT YOUR JOB." In the 1990s, a street culture boom hit the US. West Coast skaters began to wear the durable and affordable "874," which spread to artists in various fields.
