Overview
"Everyone Loves Katamari Damacy" is the sequel to the home video game series "Katamari Damacy," which was released last year and captivated the world with its simple gameplay and surreal, unique worldview. The basic concept remains simple and "fun just to play"—players simply use the two sticks on the controller to roll a "katamari" and collect any "objects" lying around the stage, making the katamari bigger. However, the game's entertainment value has been further enhanced by the free-spirited and luxurious attention to detail in the overall software, including visuals and sound. We have actively incorporated customer feedback, resulting in a title that is "fun just to play" and "enjoyable for all who play."
Designer's Comment
While maintaining the same "simple game rules" and "simple controls" that the previous title achieved, we've further enhanced the game's entertainment value by paying close attention to all aspects of the product, including visuals, music, and interface. This is a product that can be enjoyed by anyone around the world, regardless of age, gender, or language. We've also enhanced gameplay in this title so that it can be enjoyed by parents and children, siblings, friends, and other groups.
Judge's Comment
Even more than the first title, the graphics have harmonious colors, the character designs are not obtrusive, and the selectable background music is of high quality, making this a very appealing game. In a gaming world dominated by fighting games, we particularly commend the game's ability to maintain a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.
