Mountain x Tenkara = "MOUN-TEN." Go into the mountains, camp in a tent, and fish deeper and deeper with tenkara fishing... This mountain tenkara rod was designed for that ultimate mountain camping and fishing experience. While the Mountain 26 is designed for narrow headwaters, the Mountain 30 is designed for use in slightly more open headwaters at 3.0m.

To improve portability in the mountains, the retracted length is 41cm. While it was possible to make the retracted length even smaller, a more compact retracted length would not have achieved the ideal action, and we decided that this size is sufficient for mountain use.

It features a reel spool unique to tenkara rods. It requires minimal equipment and is easy to store the line.
