[The Secret of Six-Ply Gauze] As the name suggests, six-ply gauze is a fabric made from six layers. The outer layers, the first and sixth layers that come into direct contact with the fabric, are thin gauze made from thin threads. The second and fifth layers are slightly thicker, while the third and fourth layers are made from threads of varying thicknesses, resulting in a voluminous six-ply gauze. Combining different fabrics allows the fabric to trap plenty of air, creating a fluffy softness.
