This game aims to achieve the most efficient production cycle by skillfully controlling the corrosion of your facilities caused by steam that fills your factory.
In "Corrosion," players take on the role of entrepreneurs running factories.
Players purchase various equipment and hire skilled engineers, aiming to operate their factories more efficiently than others.
However, because factories are powered by steam, your factory will corrode over time.
Furthermore, your hired engineers cannot keep working forever.
In "Corrosion," players manage the game time using a corrosion wheel located in the center of their personal board.
Moving the wheel will operate your factory, but equipment will be consumed and engineers will not be returned to your hand until time has passed.
If you do not use the various resources you have acquired appropriately, you will have to discard them over time.
Furthermore, as the corrosion wheel progresses, the game approaches the end, so you must manage them well.
The player with the best time and labor management skills will be declared the winner.
Corrosion is a strategic engine-building board game where players must manage their resources, their hand, and the clock to maximize factory efficiency.
It also features a solo mode for in-depth play.
