SSK Co., Ltd. was founded in November 1946 (Showa 21), the year after the end of the war, as a sporting goods store in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto City, by its late founder, Kyozo Sasaki, who believed that "nurturing young people through sports is essential for Japan's recovery."
In October 1950 (Showa 25), with the official price and rationing of cotton fabric completely abolished, the company began sewing baseball uniforms. Inspired by professional baseball team uniforms, the company made numerous improvements and successfully developed a gussetless baseball uniform.
In March 1956 (Showa 31), the products were sold under the brand name "SSK 3D Cut Uniform," marking the beginning of product development bearing the "SSK" logo. Currently, we handle a wide range of sports equipment, from manufacturing, wholesale, and import/export for baseball, soccer, and racket sports to outdoor gear.
