Since its launch in 1983, the G-SHOCK, the tough watch that has continued to evolve in pursuit of tireless strength, has introduced the Mix Tape series, incorporating the image of colorful cassette tapes into its design. Cassette tapes are both nostalgic and refreshing for different generations, and are expressed in primary colors such as red, yellow, and green, along with the color of the tape itself, black. The lineup includes four models: the classic digital DW-5610, the three-eye DW-5900, the big-case GA-100, and the front-button GA-700. The DW-5610MT is the first to feature a multicolored composite band made using a new technology that combines metal and plastic. Other models feature playful gimmicks, such as a cassette tape design on the band ring. The primary colors that stand out against the classic standard series are eye-catching, creating a design that evokes a sense of nostalgia.
