The Kobe Electric Railway 1000 series 1500 and 1600 models were introduced in 1991. Based on the De 1150 and Sa 1250 models, they were originally designed for one-man operation.
They are currently in service on all Kobe Electric Railway lines.
These models are produced in the original paint scheme of the 1503 train set.
By using a separately sold power unit and N gauge running parts, they can be operated as an N gauge model train.
We recommend the TM-06R (18m class A) power unit, TT-04R running parts set, and PG16 [0238] pantograph for the 1000 series and PT4811N [0258] pantograph for the 2000 series.
