Simple, easy, and with a small number of parts. The SD series represents specific models from other, more advanced series. Its appearance is a caricature of its bigger brother from another series. SD models are great for younger players, as well as those who have never played with GUNPLA models! Assembly Difficulty: Easy Number of pieces: over 50 Size: 8 cm HG – High GradeModels introduced in 1990 in 1:144 scale. These were groundbreaking models in the series, as their quality was significantly improved over previous models and they featured a full range of motion. Assembly Difficulty: Medium Number of pieces: over 150 Size: 13 cm RG – Real GradeIn July 2010, Bandai introduced the Real Grade series in 1:144 scale as part of the 30th anniversary of the "Gundam 30th Anniversary" series. It features elements and design from the MG and PG series. It features an internal skeleton frame and a greater range of motion than the HG series. Assembly difficulty level: Intermediate Number of pieces: over 250 Size: 13 cm MG – Master GradeThe next level is Master Grade, which began production in 1995. It is only available in 1:100 scale. This series is made of the highest quality plastic. The models have significantly more parts than the other series, which makes them more complex and time-consuming to assemble. Models from the MG series have the greatest possible range of motion (e.g., movable fingers) compared to the lower series, thanks to the internal skeleton. This high quality translates into an amazing look and attention to detail, and there's nothing stopping you from using paints to enhance the model. Assembly difficulty level: Hard Number of pieces: over 260 Size: 18 cm PG – Perfect GradeThe PG series kits were introduced in 1998. Models from the PG series are made of the highest quality plastic and metal components. These kits also include parts that must be secured with additional screws. Some models feature an LED array that illuminates the armor, allowing selected components or the entire model to be illuminated. These are the most difficult kits to assemble; assembly can take days or weeks. Assembly difficulty level: Very difficult Number of pieces: 500 Size: 30 cm
