These chainrings are designed for Shimano GRX cranks. They feature the patented Drop-Stop design for maximum durability, chain retention, and mud control. Drop-Stop ST is specifically designed for the Shimano 12-speed Hyperglide+ chain used with the GRX 12-speed, while Drop-Stop-B is compatible with all other 9-, 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains, including SRAM Flattop, SRAM Eagle, SRAM Road, and Transmission (T-Type) Flattop chains. Compatibility: Shimano GRX cranksets (including RX600 and RX810). Drop-Stop ST is designed for Shimano 12-speed Hyperglide+ chains. Drop-Stop B tooth profile is compatible with SRAM Flattop chains. Wolf Tooth's patented Drop-Stop Wide/Narrow tooth profile provides maximum chain retention and mud evacuation. Compatible with SRAM Eagle, SRAM Road, and Transmission (T-Type) Flattop chains, 9-, 10-, 11-, and 12-speed chains.
Use Drop-Stop B for 10-, 11-speed chains, or 12-speed KMC, Connex, Wippermann, and Campagnolo. If you plan on riding in very muddy conditions, we recommend a chain guide or chain keeper in addition to a clutch-type rear derailleur. Failure to take these precautions can result in problems with dropped chains and chain suck.
