The series' most diverse selection includes Michael Hedges' "Ragamuffin."
The "Solo Guitar Studies" series features classic songs from a variety of genres played on a single acoustic guitar. This work features the widest selection of songs in the series' history, including ballads, rock, blues, fusion, pop, and film soundtracks.
Also included at the end of the volume is a special appendix: Michael Hedges' signature song, "Ragamuffin." It's fascinating to see how Daisuke Minamizawa, a leading expert on the Michael Hedges style, interpreted the score and performed it (included on the accompanying CD).
