ELEMENT was designed as a multi-tool to support musicians' everyday tasks.
Its most basic function is an IR cabinet simulator, with a wide selection of IRs for guitar and bass cabinets available.
You can store up to five of your favorite IRs on the unit using the Darkglass Suite app.
When practicing, you can listen to the realistic sound generated by the cabinet simulation through headphones, along with a sound source connected via Bluetooth or a stereo mini jack.
The XLR balanced output allows for silent recording at home,
or functions as a DI on stage, sending a realistic sound generated by the cabinet simulation to a PA.
It can also be used with a variety of instruments, including guitars and basses, as it can accept inputs from line inputs and amplifier speaker outputs.
[SPECS]
INSTRUMENT IN/SPEAKER OUT: Balanced/unbalanced inputs for line-level and instrument-level signals. When connecting a signal from an amplifier's speaker output to the AMP IN, a parallel output is sent to the speaker. (Connect a dummy load here.)
INSTRUMENT OUT/AMP IN: Parallel output when connecting an instrument to the INSTRUMENT IN. This is the input for inputting the signal from the amplifier's speaker output.
Attenuation: Reduces the input level when connecting instruments with high input levels or when connecting to the amplifier's speaker output. (Switchable between 0dB, -12dB, -30dB) Amplifiers up to 900W can be connected, but when using a tube amplifier, be sure to connect a dummy load to the parallel output.
Input Impedance: 2 Mohm (0dB), 18 kohm (-12dB), 12 kohm (-30dB)
Aux In: 3.5mm stereo input for music players, smartphones, keyboards, etc.
Bluetooth: Connect to a Bluetooth-enabled device (such as a smartphone) to play audio or control the Element using the dedicated app.
