"The Very Best of Mick Jagger," a compilation of Mick Jagger's solo career (released in 2007), is now available exclusively in Japan as a 2-CD set in a paper jacket for the first time, with two additional bonus tracks.
"The Very Best of Mick Jagger" is the ultimate best album that allows you to fully enjoy the charm of Mick Jagger as a solo artist, completely different from his stance with The Rolling Stones. In addition to 10 songs selected from his four solo works, from his first solo album "She's the Boss" released in 1985 to "Goddess in the Doorway" in 2001, it also includes songs he provided for film soundtracks such as "Memo from Turner," which he wrote for "Performance," in which he also starred, and "Old Habits Die Hard" from "Alfie," for which he composed the music, as well as collaborative singles such as "Dancing in the Street," which he performed with David Bowie, and "Don't Look Back," a duet with Peter Tosh. Additionally, the album includes three previously unreleased tracks (from 2007): "Too Many Cooks," produced by John Lennon; "Checkin' Up on My Baby," from a session with The Red Devils; and "Charmed Life," an outtake from "Wondering Spirit." This comprehensive collection offers a comprehensive look at the history of Mick Jagger's solo career.
The Japanese CD edition includes two bonus tracks: "Gotta Get a Grip" and "England Lost," both singles released in 2017.
