Product Introduction
This model is a plastic model assembly kit based on the 1/72 scale Japan Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Eagle, recreating the commemorative painted aircraft produced in 1995 to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 204th Squadron's transition to the F-15J. The design, featuring Valkyries from Norse mythology depicted across the entire fuselage, is known as the Mystic Eagle and is still celebrated today as a masterpiece of commemorative paint schemes. The popular markings are faithfully reproduced with high-quality decals from the Italian company Cartograf. Of course, the aircraft itself boasts a highly realistic finish, from its shape to the details of the landing gear, engine exhausts, and cockpit. The finished model measures approximately 270mm in length, giving it a substantial presence. Please also consider using the separately sold detail-up parts for the fuselage and cockpit.
