Floor protection - The base mat protects parquet flooring and carpets. For acoustic coupling, place the spikes towards the floor and set them on the small base pads. The spikes can also be used to correct unevenness in the floor.
Why are speaker spikes effective? Speaker decoupling prevents unpleasant drumming and improves the perceived accuracy and balance of the low, mid, and high frequency ranges. Acoustic coupling is achieved with spikes. By placing the spikes on the bottom of the speaker with the tips facing the floor and a support plate between the tips and the floor, the floor will not be damaged. We offer slim speaker spikes. The cone shape and small contact surface guide the vibrations from the cabinet to the floor, blocking the rear vibrations that would otherwise act from the floor to the speaker cabinet.
