ALTSTONE Sharpening Stone Regular and Precise Medium Grit Stone 1000 Knife Sharpening Stone Ceramic Made in Japan "RIN Non-Absorbent Size" [Hard

[Made in Japan] Japanese-made ceramic whetstones. By collaborating with domestic factories and managing everything from planning to delivery in-house, we are able to deliver Japanese-made whetstones at reasonable prices. [Grit Size] This is the most basic 1000 grit. [Hard Grit] Because the hard grind allows the abrasive to penetrate shallowly into the blade, it results in a fine finish as if you were sharpening with a higher grit. It also maintains a flat surface well. [Compatible Steel Materials] This sharpener can sharpen not only stainless steel knives commonly used in households, but also high-hardness steel knives. It cannot sharpen non-metallic knives such as ceramic knives, or knives made of special steels such as titanium. [Thorough Inspection] We double-check our products through manufacturer inspections and our own internal inspections, ensuring that only flawless whetstones are shipped. [Size] Main unit: 205 x 72 x 22 mm (Regular size) [Manufacturing Method] Firing method (ceramic whetstone) It's non-absorbent, so you can use it immediately by simply wetting the surface. "I want a whetstone that sharpens with precision." Rin was born from the voices of those who are particular about their sharpening. While retaining the smoothness of ALTSTONE, its hardness and density have been increased. "Hard whetstones are too slippery and don't sharpen properly." To satisfy those who have had that experience, we have created a dedicated process for Rin to achieve both hardness and sharpening performance. This is a whetstone that we are confident can compete with Shapton's Kuromaku and King's Deluxe.
