Arahataen Daichi no Uta Fukamushi Tea 1kg Bulk Green Leaves Japanese Large Capacity Shizuoka

Second Flush Tea Ingredients: Green tea (Shizuoka) Net weight: 1kg In the deep steaming method, the tea leaves themselves dissolve compared to regular sencha (extracted liquid from tea leaves). In addition to the color and flavor, the health components of the tea leaves are also fully extracted. Although the leaves become finer and may not look appealing, deep steamed tea prioritizes "taste" over the shape of the leaves. The bulk deep steamed tea uses the second flush harvested in June. Compared to the first flush, the second flush is rich in catechins, which are beneficial for health. Since catechins are also astringent components, this tea is recommended for those who prefer a stronger taste. Furthermore, only the tea leaves are selected by removing dust (powder, stems, etc.) from the rough tea. This is what is referred to as true tea. Deep steaming method that maximizes high-quality tea leaves: The tea from Aratakeen is made using a deep steaming method that steams the leaves three to four times longer than regular sencha. The Makinohara plateau has long sunlight hours, allowing for thick, nutrient-rich tea leaves to grow. By steaming these leaves for a long time, the tannin (bitterness) content is reduced, and the amino acid theanine (sweetness) increases, resulting in a smooth tea. The leaves become finer, but they feature a beautiful deep green color, mild sweetness, and rich depth.
