Since its introduction in 1986, the DD-3 digital delay has continued to be highly regarded by guitarists worldwide for its iconic sound and simple operation.
The DD-3T inherits the timeless delay sound and intuitive operation of the DD-3, while enhancing its functionality.
Using an external footswitch allows you to set the tempo of the delay time, and you can choose from three different note lengths.
The direct output terminal is located on the output side.

● Timeless delay sound and simple operation
Based on the DD-2, the world's first digital delay pedal released in 1983, the DD-3 has been highly acclaimed for its warm tone and simple operation, and continues to be supported by many players over the years.
The DD-3T is a model that faithfully inherits the sound and operability of the DD-3.
● Added tap tempo function
The newly added tap tempo function allows you to change the delay time with just your foot, even while playing.
You can freely set rhythmic delays to match the song and your playing style.
It also supports tempo input via an external footswitch, allowing you to control delay times up to 800ms.
The mode knob allows you to select the note length (quarter note/dotted eighth note/triplet).
● Output using the direct out terminal
Like the DD-3, the DD-3T is equipped with a direct out terminal, which is positioned next to the output terminal for easier cable connection.
By connecting a cable to the direct out terminal, only the effect sound will be output from the OUTPUT, allowing you to separate the effect sound from the direct sound.
When using this with an amplifier or switcher that has a parallel effects loop, you can mute the direct signal and blend only the effects signal by connecting the dummy plug to the direct out terminal.
● Creative SHORT LOOP function
The original DD-3 (and DD-2) featured a HOLD function that allowed you to loop and play along with phrases up to 800ms in length.
BOSS developed this unique concept further and later commercialized it as the "LOOP STATION" product.
The DD-3T features the same HOLD function as the DD-3, but its name has been changed to "SHORT LOOP" to reflect its now-common use as a looper.
