The New Interconfessional Translation, a new Japanese translation of the Bible, aims to set the standard for the next generation. Published in December 2018 after a translation period of approximately nine years, this translation follows on from the 1987 New Interconfessional Translation, a joint translation project supported and coordinated by Catholic and Protestant churches. It draws on the research findings of the United Bible Societies (UBS), the world's largest Bible translation network, and was translated by Japan's leading biblical scholars and Japanese language experts.
●The first printing will be available at a special launch price (second printings and beyond will be priced at the regular price [¥6,100 + tax]).
